WIL - Weekend #3
1. Character songs are interesting and ever changing for the Contessa.
1a. Piccolo Naviglio is a fun Italian tune, but not for all day.
1b. Life is Beautiful by Sixx AM is much more her style.
1c. She Likes on Top by Lillian Axe says so much!
2. BIG assumptions can be made from very simple statements.
2a. Joan Humble can have her feet knocked completely out from under her with 3 words - "It is God's."
2b. Having Improv instructors gasp and laugh is rewarding - especially when you're told that you "dropped the Improv Atom Bomb" on a scene.
3. Knowing that my son is loved by his Faire Mother is very, very comforting.
3a. Seeing her cry is heartwrenching.
3b. Welcoming her to motherhood is fulfulling.
4. Using HCM to explain why the Contessa is not friends with the Archduchess has been a long time coming.
4a. Declining the invitation to do "walkies" together because of the Contessa's belief that all German people were involved in the sacking of Rome is a personal stroke of genius.
5. WTF is "the Rat Pack" and how does it influence me?
6. Being thrust into Morning Masque is interesting, and frustrating.
6a. I was agreeable to reading in the chorus to cover for another performer, but when I got there, I realized I was just there for scenery.
6b. Being told that I was the desired choice for the principle role in the Masque was confusing, but flattering.
6c. It remains to be seen if any of this is going to happen...I'm playing the "waiting game."
7. Some performers scare the crap out of me and make me worry for my mental and physical health.
7a. I will protect myself, my family and my chosen family at all costs.
8. I am interested to see how the "Cold War" between countries will work out this season.
9. Just once, I would like to have classes with the other Italians.
9a. If we are a "group," how come we're never together to learn the dynamics and how we will play together in the lanes?
10. The village makes me happy...
