Thank You!!!
My 30th birthday party was amazing! Thank you to everyone who came out to Mexico Joe's and helped me celebrate this occasion. Thanks especially to techix and looking_askance for providing a place with enough seats for everyone to watch "Free Enterprise." That really is required viewing for anyone turning 30. A big thanks also to jendearte for the delicious and beautiful cake. Thanks also to my lovely wife tallwithglasses as well as monsterofmud for organizing all of these birthday festivities.
This whole weekend was fantastic. It just so happened that the day between my birthday and anniversary was Oklahoma's 100th birthday, so tallwithglasses and I had the day off on Friday. On Saturday, we went to the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History at OU. The museum houses the world's biggest dinosaur skull among its large collection of fossils. It also has a nice collection of cultural artifacts from around the world. I highly recommend this museum to anyone visiting Norman.
Now that the weekend is over, it's time for Thanksgiving and another short work week. Hooray for November!
