Well, the regatta was good but could have been better for us. The varsity 8 I was in finished 4th overall out of 12, varsity 4 finished 5th out of 15, and the novice finished 4th out of 8. Williams college beat the crap out of us in every event. I've never heard of them before, supposedly they're located in the new england area. Oh well, we've barely been training on the water for a month now, and its our first regatta of the season. This weekend I head off to Baltimore to race in the Johns Hopkins Invitational. Hopefully I'll come home with something to hang around my neck :). Other than that, things keep moving forward. I've finally got back into running and I forgot how good it feels. I've increased the distance 10% each week and im up to 4.5 miles so far. I'll keep it at that distance for now but increase the speed.
