Okay, so after roughly four hours of "nap time" I feel better, apart from work calling me and having to drag my butt out of bed to deal with the latest "crisis". Any how, I've been thinking about the season finale's for GA and CSI again.

I did actually enjoy CSI, what's getting to me is the possiblilty that it was JF's/Sara's last episode ever, if it is then that was a really bad farewell episode. If she is back in season 8, it opens up a great deal of potential storylines and an even better season opener.

GA - I've haven't watched it again, but I did read Shonda's blog on the ABC site, and I got to say they have gotten lazy and complacent over there, if they really think that fans want to see a show burn everything down to ash to start again after three seasons they must be mad - I guess we'll find out from the ratings in the fall.

But for me it was a cop out.

Writers continously back themselves into corners with storylines, but they don't take a massive eraser to a show and say hey lets start again, there's a name for that type of tactic and it's called Ex Deus Machina, and is something that writers should avoid, employes writer's should be good enough to be able to write themselves out of the corner, and great writers will come up with a plot that not only gets you out into the middle of the room again but also expands the walls away from you.

The only couple together now are George and Callie, really - that's hardly a great one to keep now is it, with the only viable blossoming relationship being the Chief and Adele, my god GA get it together, I'd much rather watch people making it through life together than a teen drama set in an adult world, the OC dropped in ratings, and I think so will GA.

Okay that was a rant - deep breathe - now I'm done.
