MY SHOW WAS THIS WEEEEEEKKKKEEEEENND
Oh my GOD. I still can not believe how WELL everything went, everything was perfect, all the actors were FANTASTIC, and I actually still laughed even though I wrote the freaking thing. The audience laughed straight through the whole show, everyone LOVED it, and one Junior actually told me she wished she could do it for her student directed next year. My aunt, uncle, and cousins came down from St. Louis to see the show, almost all of my friends came to see it, and a ton of people I'm not even good friends with tackled me for hugs afterward. On Saturday, when I got called up on stage, I almost started crying when Tina gave her speech on how much she loved doing the show and how I was the best director she's ever had. The theater was more full than I think it's ever been for any student directed show EVER, and they were all so energetic! Dinner afterwards both nights was awesome, but Saturday was definitely the best. We went to O'Charlie's, they gave us a private room, we made four toasts, we had like 30 people, Landon married everyone (including me) plus the waitress, Michelle ate the most potatoes it is possible to eat at once, the waiter did a BACKFLIP, and I took a million pictures. Then Laila stood up (for like the third toast) and asked me to write a sequel. I'm going to see if we can perform it at the end of the year theater banquet.
I LOVE THEATER SO MUUUUCCCCHHHHH~~~
(I'll post photos when I get them next week)
