We had a joint birthday party for my parents today, at a restaurant in the city they live in. They aren't able to travel much at all these days.

My three brothers and their wives were there, and me and my husband.

That does sound nice :) I'm glad you can tuck away another good memory. The older one gets, especially when there are health issues, the more bittersweet birthdays become.

It was a good day, and I will tuck the memory away, as you say.

It was especially nice because I am away from my parents for the holidays.
