Just finished watching Season 3. Absolutely hilarious. Loved the parts where John was so mad at Sherlock when he appeared, and when Sherlock was trying to catch John's attention. Though I honestly do have to say that he totally deserved the punch for being an asshole.
Plus, there's the appearance of drunk!Sherlock and drunk!John, which is really, really, funny. Apparently, Sherlock's the picking-fights-with-others and tying-to-act-sober drunk, while John's the sleepy and the I-can-totally-keep-my-head-when-I'm-wasted drunk.
Well, there's the appearance of Mary, who married John. Sad, was hoping for more Sherlock/John slashy times. Or maybe there will be stuff in there. Who knows. Anyway, back to Mary. I have to admit, that I do love her character. She is absolutely sweet and gets on well with Sherlock too (which not many can say the same). I think, if there was a woman that John would be married too, Mary would be the one. Though I still want Sherlock/John so, so much (where I will be feeding my craving on soon, on AO3, the kink meme, etc.). But, I honestly do love Mary as a character. Plus, she's kinda sorta like, BAMF. Which is totally awesome.
Mostly season 3 is about the relationships between the characters, now that Sherlock is back. I do like this season, since it shows more character development on various characters, Anderson, Mycroft to name a few. I love seeing their reactions to the various events that happen, since it makes them more real.
Now, most likely there will be a season 4, since Moriarty is back. Though that is now really surprising, since which criminal mastermind would commit suicide when he's about to see the fruition of his plans? And I do think that Moriarty is a drama queen, he wants attention, which he won't have if he's dead. Plus, that way a lame way to go. I mean, criminal mastermind, anyone? Have you ever seen a criminal mastermind go the way he did? No, really. So, yeah, looking forward to season 4. Hope that the news of that will be confirmed though.
