Halloween Party, Part 2: Reminder and open RP thread
OOC: Reminder: LIVE Group RP will be starting today (Wed. Oct 31) at 4PM, EST and will run throughout the afternoon/night. Your characters can drop in and out -- it's a huge affair and if you come in and out, it's not a big deal.
If you cannot make it to the designated party hours, but would like your character to participate, comment here, with your character arriving at the party. Others who will be in live attendance can comment and interact w/ the people unable to make it. Because it is a party and people bounce around at these sorts of things, your timelines don't have to be totally in-synch (Haha, this IS an exception to the rule, however and I will take the time to remind you all that timelines should be established at the beginning of all other RPs)
The party is being held at The Foundry , a restored foundry that is used for events.
As if the atmosphere wasn't creepy enough, the place is festooned with ghostly decorations. There is punch (which will undoubtedly be spiked by the time the night is under way) along with water and coffee. In addition, there's a variety of finger food, candy and snacks.
Guests have already started to arrive. Among them are top ranking people from both the police department and the DA's office. The higher-ups mill around and hope that the elaborateness of the party will boost the low morale that's been plaguing both the Department and the DA's office since the summer's scandal hit.
There is music playing, a mix of the cheesy (Monster Mash) and the creepy (mournful dirges).
