John Munch: Catching up on some paperwork. I'd suggest you get on that call. Try to get ahold of one of your friends as well. Remind them that work doesn't hold for the weekend.

Frankie Silvera: a two hour drive is a long time to harass people by cell phone. ::walks to her desk, sits down starts calling TARU::

Frankie Silvera: This is Detective Frankie Silvera, SVU. I'm interested in some incoming call records, for IAB Sgt. Bart Pickler.
TARU: Yes, just a moment please.

TARU: ::computer keys type:: There were four incoming calls that day. One from his wife at 11 hundred hours, one from a cell phone at 1450 hundred hours...
TARU: ...one from a lawyer office in Chelsea at 15 hundred hours and one from his boss at 1530 hundred hours.
Frankie Silvera: Anymore info on that cell?
TARU: Just a moment. ::keys type:: It's from a Japanese company. Would you like me to call them up?

TARU: One moment. ::more keys:: A few calls incoming from the same lawyer in Chelsea over the past week, five from congruent cell numbers 011-81-44-553-6170 and 011-81-44-553-6171.
TARU: All out going calls were made to those three places and an American number. Sprint phone.

TARU: A Yuki Karasume.

TARU: The first few were about 15 seconds but they started shortening. This last call to her phone wasn't picked up.
