Where: NYC Police Museum
Time: 7:00 PM - ???

[There are the usual scary decorations, food and beverage tables, and dance floor. Anything else is up to you all. Feel free to have your characters enter at any time and please include their costume descriptions.]

Millie and Mike walked into the party a bit after 7.

"I still don't know why I couldn't be Batman," Mike grumbled.
"Ay, you got to be Batman when we took the kids trick-or-treating," Millie rolled her eyes. "The whole neighborhood still thinks you're Batman. And I let you pick your non-Batman costume. I thought you were pretty happy with it."

Mike grunted, but then looked at his costume with a bit of satisfaction. He was dressed as Julius Caesar and any time he could get away with wearing a sheet in public was a good time.

Millie was dressed to match as Cleopatra.

"Mami, can I go see my friends?" Isabel, dressed as Dora the Explorer (with leggings underneath her shorts) asked.

"Hang on," Millie said. "I don't want you to get lost." She let Kit, who was dressed like Dora's sidekick Boots, down. He immediately toddled (carefully, since he'd just learned to walk) to Isa and grabbed her hand.

Isa smiled. "Kitten you are Boots and I am Dora. So you will go with me."

"Boooos." Kit said softly. "Do'a." He pointed to Isabel.

Claire, dressed as a housewife, comes over with a little lobster walking in front of her holding both hands.

Millie saw them and grinned. "Hey, you guys!" She went over and put a hand under Zoe's chin. "Lookit you, how cute!"

Zoe smiled and squealed at the attention. "She enjoys dressing up for some reason," Claire added.

"She should come over and play dress-up with Isa some time," Millie said.

Isabel walked over, Kit still holding her hand. "I like to dress-up," Isabel grinned.

Zoe starts "walking" over to Kit and Isa. "I'm sure she would have fun with that. We started putting frilly dresses on her when she gets upset," Claire explained.

"That's cute," Millie said.

Kit giggled and waved shyly at Zoe and Claire.

Isabel looked around. "Mami, I wanna go over there with Daddy." Mike was at the food table, grabbing snacks.

"Yeah, okay," Millie said, giving her permission.

Isabel ran over to Mike.

Zoe, dragging along Claire, continued heading for Claire.

"There's a part of me that can't wait until she can go off on her own,"

Millie laughed and grabbed onto Kit, who had latched onto her legs after Isabel went on her way.

"Yeah, this one is trying, but he's still a little scared sometimes."

Kit turned and smiled at Claire. "I-sa." He pointed to where his sister had gone.

Max came charging in looking around the party for people he knew. He especially wanted to show off his costume. He thought he looked awesome.

Cole followed after him a little slower. He felt a little silly in his costume but whatever made Max happy. He pointed out Millie and Isa to the boy and they headed that way.

Connie walked over wearing a simple long-sleeved black dress and a witch hat. She carried Tommy, who was dressed like a pumpkin. Michael was over by the drinks, talking with another ADA. Both men were dressed in their work clothes, no costumes.

"Whoa, is that Luke Skywalker?" Connie grinned at Max.

Max grinned up at her,"Hi Connie. Yeah, I'm Luke and Dad is Han."

Cole smiled at her ruffling Max's hair. "He decided that we should match again this year."

"Lucky you," Connie chuckled. Tommy reached up and grabbed her hair, making an amused face. Connie made a face. "Ow. No."

He nodded,"Especially since it's only mildly embarrassing for me."

Max sighed and shook his head,"He wasn't picking good ones."

"We didn't go too all out this year," Connie said, "But Tommy got to go visit both sets of grandparents today so they could see him in costume."

"We always go pretty all out for Halloween,"Cole shrugged. He liked Halloween so why not have fun with it.
