Olivia showed up at the crime scene and flashed her badge to the uniforms outside to get in. She looked around and saw what never got easier - a sexual victim's crime scene.

"I'm looking for Hayes," she said to the room. "I'm Detective Olivia Benson, SVU."

Cole turned at hearing his name,"I'm Hayes." He looked only partially ready. His shirt not fully buttoned and no jacket on.

She looked him over and could see he clearly had a rough start to the day. Nothing like murder in your own building to wake you up in the morning.

"So any idea what happened here?"

"Possible suffocation. Rodgers thinks she's been dead a couple of days."

"And of course we won't know til the autopsy." Olivia looked around the room, which was buzzing with techs processing the scene.
"Did the vic live alone?"

"Looks like it," a CSU tech named Kenny Barnes said, coming over with a pile of envelopes. "All the mail's addressed only to her. Name's Marissa Hobson, according to these."

"Yeah, just found her purse," another tech, Julia Ruiz, said, stepping out of the closet. "Well, one of them - one she was using at the time of her death it looks like. Driver's license, credit cards...uh-oh."

"What?" Barnes asked.
Ruiz held up a laminated badge that was attached to a lanyard. "Press pass."

He nodded listening to what the tech said,"That is an uh-oh."

Cole turned toward Olivia,"A single woman working for the press."

"Can I see her purse please?" she said to Ruiz, and then thanked her when she handed it over.

"Oh no. That's definitely a bad thing."

Then she said to Cole, "Do we know if anyone filed a missing person's report? You'd think working for the press, someone should have noticed she wasn't showing up unwelcomed or otherwise," Olivia said. Thinking to herself she realized that if she worked for a certain person at Ledger, WWIII could have broken out and he wouldn't have noticed. "We'll have to check on that."

"Haven't checked for a missing person's report yet but surely her boss knew that she was missing. The woman that found the body and whose screams brought me running is with a uniform,"he nodded his head toward the door.

"I don't know what her relationship to the vic is yet,"he looked at Olivia.

"Well, believe it or not, some of the guys in charge at the Ledger are pretty unobservant." She looked around quickly, then looked toward the door. "Time to go find out."

Jillian Goldberg was punching in a text on her cell phone.
"Miss," the uniform said again, "I'd really prefer if you didn't--"
"This is a news story," Jillian said angrily. Her frowning face was still tearstained. "She would've wanted it reported!"

"Hey!! Hey!!" Liv shouted at the woman with the phone as she darted at her. "Stop! Give me the phone. This is a crime scene. It doesn't make it a free for all for the press."

Jillian held back her phone, close to her chest. "I found her." There was fear in her eyes as she stared back at Benson, even though her tone and stance were hostile.

"Okay," she said, hands out to show she wasn't going to hurt her. "Okay. I know you want to help. But having the press involved before we can even start an investigation is going to just cause a lot of problems. Okay?"

Jillian dropped her arm, along with the phone, to her side. "Fine."

"Thank you," she said to the woman and then turned to the uniform officer and said, "Make sure she doesn't use that."

Olivia started to walk back to Hayes, but turned around and said to the woman, "Ma'am, could you come down to the station with us to answer some questions?"
