Brian walked into the squad room of the 16th precinct and glanced around. He was supposed to be meeting John Munch for a long-overdue cup of coffee but the older detective was nowhere in sight. In fact, he didn't really see anyone he recognized off the bat. He shoved his hands awkwardly into his pockets and stood there, waiting for something to happen.
