[Because of conflicting schedules and whatnot, this is an open RP thread for the Homicide Squad. Specifically, it was intended for Detectives Hayes and McCarthy, however whoever else can obviously join in if you see fit

"Got it,"Cole stands and looks toward McCarthy,"Ready to roll?"

She nodded, standing up quickly and checking her pockets to make sure she had the essentials with her, "Yep, lead the way."

He nodded and grabbed his coffee before leading the way down to the car.

[detmccarthy]

Quickly ensures that she gets to the drivers side before he does- the last thing they need is a man juggling a steering wheel and a cup of coffee.

He shrugged and slid into the passenger seat, buckling himself in.

[detmccarthy]

Starts the car and drives to the Movie Barn.

He climbs out of the car when they arrive, throwing his coffee cup away as he headed toward the door.

Steps out the car and follows him into the store.

*DOINK-DOINK* Movie Barn.

The store is a typical movie rental place. A bored-looking woman with dyed-pink hair and several piercings sits at the front counter, flipping through a magazine.

Cole heads to the counter, toward the woman.

The woman looks up. The badge on her front reads "Michelle". "Can I help you?" she asks.

[detmccarthy]

Rach holds up her badge and nods, "Hi, we hope so."

[lao_npc]

"Is this about Marnie?" the girl asks a bit warily.

[det_hayes]

"Yes, it's about Marnie. We have a few questions for you."

[lao_npc]

Michelle nods. "Okay." She looks at Hayes expectantly.

[det_hayes]

"Did Marnie have any problems with anyone?"
