Goren is already at the crime scene when she arrives. He’s hunched over the victim, his head bent in what looks like a decidedly uncomfortable angle. She squats down next to him and takes a good look at the victim.
"The Chief of D’s, huh?" she says tightly. Goren doesn’t answer - he’s busy studying something protruding from Moran’s neck.
"Is that what I think it is?" Alex asks, frowning. Goren looks up briefly.
"U-huh" he mumbles absentmindedly. She looks back at Moran and then at her partner again.
"Death by spork," she deadpans. "Interesting choice. Who woulda guessed it?"
