A/N: From a line Munch said in s1 of SVU about how he'd never go back to Baltimore, which, for those of you who don't know H:LOTS canon or the movie, didn't exactly turn out to be true. I own nothing.
The streets were still familiar.
Once upon a time, he'd left this place, and promised himself that he'd never come back. But he was here, now, and wishing that he wasn't.
He was the only one of the six not in dress uniform, because he wasn't a Baltimore cop anymore. And he didn't dare to look at the others, almost as if he were afraid what would happen if he did.
So he looked forward, silent, and walked along with them.
He'd returned home for one last case. But even if it was familiar...it would never be the same.
