A/N. Pretty much my first drabble. I wrote this on Wednesday night, right after I joined, but couldn't post it till Thursday, by which time it was too late. Glad I get the chance to put it up!
She paused outside of the door, brushed her hair back off of her shoulders and surveyed the busy room beyond. Enter the new girl. Welcome to Major Case, Detective Bishop.
She located her temporary partner. Reaching out her hand, she opened her mouth and managed to say, “Detective Goren? Hi, I’m-” before being cut off.
“Bishop, I know. They told me you were coming today.” He leaned forward, sniffed the air.
She was slightly unnerved. “Something wrong, Detective?”
“No, I just… you had a tuna sandwich for lunch. With tomatoes and…” He sniffed again. “Onions.”
Oy vey. It was going to be a long nine months.
