New challenge: independent, or 4th of July celebration

This week in the US we are celebrating our Independence Day/4th of July, so let's go for the obvious challenge: either use the word "independent" as your inspiration, or write about our heroes celebrating on the 4th.

I'm mostly a Criminal Intent fan...some good places to get CI icons are untapdsart_loci, havers, and bubbletheory.

I have a couple of Mothership/SVU icons from brightredboots and madamtorsion. I'm drawing a blank on other sources for Mothership icons. Oh, there's intentocreativo, too.
