Notes: A little AU, I suppose. And a little meta. And if you don't know, Prime Suspect was a British show, a fantastic one from what I hear, and is also being remade and airing this fall (on NBC)
"This looks like it might be decent."
Elizabeth lowered the book she was reading and, "Hm?" she questioned.
"This new show," Danny gestured toward the TV ad he was watching. "Prime Suspect."
"Prime Suspect?" the medical examiner frowned, "Isn't that with Helen Miren?"
"Originally. This is an American remake." They both watched the rest of the ad. "It might be decent," Danny repeated when it ended.
"Maybe," Liz answered noncommittally.
"Hopefully," Danny amended and added, "Because it just feels like all the good cop shows have been canceled here recently."
Liz exhaled and nodded in agreement, "I hear ya there."
