The man was literally trembling in his boots. "But I..I fulfilled the contract", he squeaked. "I gave you a heart transplant though there was no medical reason."
Nicole Wallace grinned. "Yes, you fulfilled your contract and Declan fulfilled his. The plan is in play."
"Then why...?"
"Come now, doctor, you know why."
As she raised the gun he turned to run. The hollow point entered his back and exited his chest. Stepping over his body she picked up the phone and dialed the number she knew best.
"Hello, Bobby."
