I am nerely finished with my New Years preperations. I assisted mother in making the osechi by going outside and pounding the rice for the mochi that will go with it. I also need to start composing my first words of the New Year so that I can say them to the first sunrise.
Tomorrow I send off my post cards so they'll make it on time.
I wish there was someone who would play Hanetsuki with me though... Usually only girls play and it's only a weak man who gangs up on girls at any game. I welcome all comer and will crush you and write on your face with advengence.
[ooc: for those who doesn't know, hanetsuki is a form of Badmittion played on or around New Years. The loser gets their face drawn on. Ironically, mostly girls do play it, but it's as close to tennis as my poor Gen-chan is getting]
