Today, opposing counsel in one of my litigation cases asked my boss, won't he please tell Angela to back off? Why is she so mean to me? Well, he didn't really say that last bit, but it was implied. I rather enjoy the notion that he breaks out into a cold sweat whenever he sees my name on an email or fax. My boss (bless him, he knows me so well) informed the poor soul that, alas he could not call me off and I would take his distress as a compliment. And indeed I do.
