[Kurotsuchi is seated in front of a rather cracked mirror in what's presumably a room of his. Unlike what's usual, his hair is down and he doesn't have his makeup on- though the containers of black and white are at hand.
Looking hesitant, he reaches towards one- then draws back, shaking his head, commenting quietly to himself.]
-isn't it sort of... ostentatious?
[Sighing, he climbs to his feet, absently brushing at his hair with his fingers, trying to keep it over the sides of his face, hiding the lack of ears.
If nothing else, it's likely that he's a bit self-conscious of it. And the way he stands makes the shinigami look more different than any surface appearance- there's no confidence there. Only a withdrawn, awkward sort of confusion.
The feed ends as he picks the PCD up, tucking it into his haori.]
