[It's Kurotsuchi in the lab again - probably not surprising, considering where he spends most of his time.

The amount of blood on him, on the table probably isn't surprising either; neither is the rather mangled lump of something stretched out in front of him. At least it's not moving. Control must not be very good today.

The song playing in the ( Read more... )

[Of course, he eventually notices that he left the PCD in the lab, so when he finally responds, there's a few more snippets of the song before a rush of air, heavy breathing, and something else breaking.

And when he actually responds - if with thankfully(?) no music in the background - his voice is practically a shriek.]

Only there! It only plays inside!

[Eventually manages to switch to text, if just to preserve a tiny bit of dignity.]

I am now. But how can I accomplish anything like this?

[God, poor Kurotsuchi man.]

Maybe you could find a temporary lab.

[Does not deserve such suffering.]

I'd spend most of the time just putting something together, and then the week would be over.

...I suppose I can gather supplies.

[Nobody deserves that.]

You can do a life study. Note behaviors, habits, and tendencies of the wildlife without directly interacting with them.

[Actually stops to consider; appreciates the rational, useful advice, especially when his first instinct is to break things and/or people.]

Possibly. I've done something like that to a limited degree, but something more in-depth could be interesting.

[Yuca is just full of rational, useful advice.]

Exactly. And that way you could get a glimpse of brain functions and levels of intelligence while the creature is in its natural environment.

[Everyone should take advice from Yuca.]

Does this actually pass as anyone's natural environment? Still- perhaps something could be learned.

Have you been affected?

[So many suicides would ensue!]

As natural as one can really be. Moreso than the lab, at any rate.

....unfortunately.

[...Yuca is effective like that.]

True enough.

Is it that terrible?

[Very much so.

And the audio switches on for just a few seconds- enough to catch a few snippets of french, before it clicks off.]

Not as terrible as yours, but still annoying.

It is. Though unwanted noise of any sort would be annoying.

Exactly.

It doesn't stop when I leave the house though. You're lucky in that regard.

So it follows you instead of the place? Don't give this one any ideas; the last thing I need is noise following me around. You only have the one song?

I wonder if anything effects the sound.

[Can't help turning to how the experience could be tested, for all that he's loathe to go back in his own lab. Spending the morning like that killed his patience.]
