There's branches and leaves everywhere, so apart from the frame of the walls, it's not much different from being outside

It's a tool. That it's a part of myself doesn't change that.

[Tilts the device to give a view of the outside- a massive caterpillar with a child's head crawls by, uprooting a few of the closer trees. Its body, however, seems singed- open wounds mostly cauterized, but some tearing and leaking with its movement.]

Besides, I went to a lot of effort to heal it this far. It has no right to complain.

I suppose, though power depends on the user. I'm a captain- I doubt you know much about shinigami hierarchy, but one of the requirements of the rank is being able to maintain our zanpakutou's full release.

Common shinigami can't even hear their sword's name, much less release it.

Oh, you're a captain of the... Gotei 13. What's the specialty of the division you're commanding then?

I assume you've spoken to some of the others? I'm captain of the twelfth, and current director of the Bureau of Research and Technology. The primary function of my division is the Bureau's - research. We also take care of communication between Soul Society and the living world, monitoring energy levels, coordinate response- and some related things.

[A smirk.] There seems to be quite a lot of shinigami here. I would have had to try real hard to avoid all of you.
