Thank you! I tried to resolve this somehow, but I couldn't see Rodney take that kind of betrayal lightly. The trust is broken. :(

Just the right amount of angst and woobie, and I realise that's why I'm a sucker for that kind of fic. Poor woobie Rodney and Sheppard totally not getting it and not realising what he's lost until it's too late

I'm also having a little trouble with the quick resolution, but maybe that's just my own predisposition to have difficulty forgiving people. I guess maybe Rodney wanted to be able to forgive John?

Loving and missing people can make you things you wouldn't normally do, I guess. And look, Rodney hasn't really forgiven John, although he's taken him back. I'm not sure he ever will, no matter how much he wants to.
