Oooo. I really love this -- I like the idea that they can be physically comfortable with each other, in ways that don't necessarily involve sex. When you come right down to it, sex is easy. The rush of pleasure can mask any emotional confusion. So for two boys who have such touch and boundary issues to have done this without sex every being fully in the equation...

Mmm. That is really lovely. And now I want to write a story where they don't ever have sex, just reach that almost female level of closeness that's physical and emotional without ever once being erotic.

I've been wanting to write something where either Rodney or John really doesn't like sex. I never seem to find a plot, though. :(

But yes, I like the thought that sex isn't everything in a relationship. Even if the relationship in question is between two emotionally retarded guys.
