(no subject)
I can't believe it's February already! Everything seems to go by so quickly at school... people have seemed to go back to normal since Mandy... I don't know if they have found the murderer yet, and the professors are not talking about it, or acting like it happened... and at the same time, they're all being sensitive about it. Well, all except Snape. Not to say that he seems happy about it, but he certainly has not lightened the load of work nor has he shown any sympathy for the students - or really any remorse for the fact that she's dead. Even Professor Binns has shown aknowledgement. I wonder...I mean it's so strange, but I wonder if Mandy is a ghost somewhere.. I bet Binns would know about it... I'm going to talk to him next class... I bet he would know.

Lavender walked out of her room upon closing her journal and brought her school books and some parchment with her. She decided to be somewhat productive and at least start her essay. She sat down and noticed Harry dozing in and out of sleep on the table in the common room. Taking a seat across from him, she giggled as his head hit the table a little harder than expected and he jumped out of sleep.
"Hi Harry," Lavender said as Harry looked at her with surprise.
