"Nah. Not if you don't mind getting hit on when Ty realizes you're here," Ben laughed, knowing it was true and none of the boys cared much who was around.
Lavender looked over at Tyler, who she had no idea was in the room with them, "Oh, I walked in the house today and heard them yelling at each other about me being a spoiled brat."
Now that she said it out loud, it sounded like a lame excuse to be upset with them, but Lavender had never acted spoiled. She did her best to respect her parents and not be a brat. Mostly, it hurt her feelings.
"That isn't even a big deal. I just hate when they fight about me."
"It's a big enough deal if you wanted to get out because of it," Tyler reasoned.
Ben pretty much aggreed. "Besides, we're used to fits over not big deal things around here. Just ask Zoey."
Tyler rolled his eyes and sat on the arm of the sofa. "Ignore him. he's pissy because she won't talk to anyone about whatever her deal is. He's taking it personally."
"That sounded like it might be where she went," Tyler shrugged. "It's not a big deal. She does this sometimes."
"She wouldn't do it if you didn't always piss her off," Ben accused.
"Would you get over it? I didn't even do anything to her. SHe just freaked out on me." Tyler was so over getting blamed by Jackson and Ben for Zoey's current bratty temper tantrum. "She's just a brat."
Then Tyler realized he should throw something out there about what Lavender had said before. "Well, you can come here anytime you don't want to listen to them. We don't really care."
"I have no clue what her problem could be," Lavender told them, thinking about it for a moment, "Perhaps she's more upset about leaving Hogwarts than I thought."
She knew she was pretty upset over it. At least Marlow was still there.
"You guys are so fantastic. Thank you." Lavender shot Tyler a flirty smile.
"She is," Ben nodded. "She just doesn't want anyone to know." As if he actually knew that's what it was.
"Anytime, love," Tyler grinned with a shrug.
About then was when Ben decided to just leave them alone. He didn't have anything interesting to say. Plus, when Zoey was in a bad mood, he usually got the worst of it. Which meant he was entirely too broody for polite company.
Lavender watched Ben leave and then looked back to Tyler, "So he's really taking Zoey's mood personally?" She didn't quite understand the relationship Ben and Zoey had, but it amused her.
"She sort of takes it out on him more than she does on me or Jackson. I guess I don't blame him." Tyler shrugged. He was around the Ben/Zoey whatever more than Lavender was and he didn't get it.
"I mean, hell, she kicked him out of his own room pretty much right after she got here."
"Where'd you run off to any...way." Then a mild look of confusion crossed his face. "Hi Lavender."

She looked around and noticed that she wasn't anywhere nearby. It would be just her luck that she wasn't there.

Really, Ben was quite nervous as to where Zoey may be. Afterall, she'd been in such a mood, and even more unpredictable than usual.

What was she going to do now.
"I just need to not be at home right now. Do you mind if I just hang out?"

Not that he hadn't already thought it was Lavender.

Lavender had no idea Zoey was in a sour mood and felt slightly bad that she hadn't talked to her friend in a few days.
"I hope she's okay. I wouldn't worry, though, she's probably with Marlow."

Then she went silent.
"How have you been?" she asked Tyler, actually interested.
