Thanksgiving Break

Nov 20, 2007 13:22

Break is incredibly relaxing so far -- it's 1:22 and I still have yet to get out of bed. Of course, I will soon and hopefully get some homework done.

I went shopping with my mom on Sunday, and to my dismay found I had gone up a pants size. I'm not too surprised about that, actually. I've gotta start eating healthier, or eating less or something. Ironically, my last package for "Connect" is going to be a commentary about eating healthy. Maybe I can find a way to include my big girl jeans. I called John to see if he wanted to go up Lake Scranton with me, but he's shopping...he said maybe if he gets done before dark we can go. I NEED TO EXERCISE!!!!!

I saw "Martian Child" yesterday. It was a really good movie...I highly recommend it.

I'm so excited about going to NYC on Saturday!!!!! Shopping at Sephora and H&M, lunch at Serendipity, and, if it's not too cold (Justine told me last night it's supposed to be 44 degrees) hunting for Thoth in Central Park! Maybe that could be the exercise I use to work off the Dylan's candy...

Opinions are funny things. Sometimes, I don't think people really want them, but rather are looking for a confirmation of their own thoughts. An opinion contradictory to that could be downright dangerous. Just something I've been thinking lately.

I got The Killers' new album! I love it -- especially "Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf." Even though I like it, it's still probably my least favorite of theirs. Will they ever be able to top Hot Fuss? With such classics as "Somebody told Me," "Mr. Brightside," and "All These Things that I've Done," I highly doubt it. It would have to be a truly transcendant album.

Happy Thanksgiving!
