So, I worried about yesterday's show for nothing, and I think I forget to tell Heather and Justine (the 2 ppl I complain to the most) about the best part -- they clapped for me! Twice! Yeah! The first time was b/c Aaron thanked me and Sarah for helping him w/ SAD research, and the second time was when Steve thanked me for helping film on Sunday! And Professor Franklin complimented my shots! Woo-hoo!
I'm really quite happy right now and I'm not sure why. I'm hungry as anything b/c there's no food in my house. Seriously. What does my mom eat? There's yogurt in the fridge, but that's not really food. I might go over my grandparents' house to get some lunch, but now I'm thinking I should just eat the yogurt cuz I'm a chubette and need to look thin in my itsy-bitsy-teenie-weenie-yellow-polka-dot bikini next week in Florida. Plus, I ate a ton yesterday. And we're going to dinner tonight for my grandfather's birthday. Yep, yogurt's def the way to go, even if I am starving.
Last night I went to Wal-Mart w/ Heather and Justine. B/c they are enablers, I ended up buying Walk the Line on DVD. I wasn't sure if I wanted to add it to my DVD collection, even though in my opinion it's a little better than Brokeback Mountain, which I will def end up buying cuz it's gonna dominate the Oscars on Sunday! (YEAH, ENNIS & JACK!) It was a great deal, though: the DVD and 5 songs from the soundtrack for $20. (Totally unrelated thought -- there is food in this house. I bought gummie worms last night! Everything's coming up Sarah!) But, yeah, I don't regret my purchase @ all. Even though I have kind of a gross # of DVDs (almost 60). And I just bought season one of "The Office." And next week I'm buying "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." Anyway, I think we're going to watch Walk the Line tonight, possibly w/ Missy, so yay!
I'm seriously really disappointed I didn't get to see Capote before the Oscars. This is, like, the first time in 5 years or something I haven't seen all the best picture nominees.
Okay, so everyone pretty much knows that Brokeback Mountain, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, and Rachel Weisz are walking away w/ awards on Sunday. Here are my dream upsets:
Best Picture: Brokeback Mountain Crash (If Brokeback loses, I'll be mad, but if anything has to beat it, I want this)
Best Actor: Phillip Seymour Hoffman Joaquin Phoenix
Best Actress: Reese Witherspoon Keira Knightley
Best Supporting Actor: George Clooney Matt Dillon
Best Supporting Actress: Rachel Weisz Michelle Williams
