i may, in fact, have the most perfect boyfriend ever.
he has now experienced the full range of my elliot reed tendencies as best expressed in this clip (which hopefully will embed properly, though i won't know because i cannot view lj from work):

and has proven to be amazing and.... patient and he has not run screaming nor yelled at me nor anything... he's just said, you don't have to worry about that. i'm going to show you that it's not like that with me. i love you.

(and by most irrational, i mean, when he answered "ok" to my "can i call you before i go to bed" i interpreted it as "no don't call me i don't really want to talk to you tonight i don't love you anymore")
