with lighting effects not quite as good as a Magical Journey with Lance Burton
Ahh the history and tradition
Today I had dinner with Stephen (formerly of Dobie) currently an MS 2 (Second year medical student). He's also mt big brother and handed down the treasure trove of past tests and notes. He also mentioned that I probably have a storage closet at my apartment, something the management failed to point out, and Oh I even have the key. He also gave me his sailboat anatomy scrubs and advice on where to store said scrubs. At my school you change clothes in the bathroom or study carrol immediately after lab and leave your clothes locked in your own cabinet in the aforementioned carrol. At UT Houston the girl I stayed with wore hers home and left them on the balcony to air out. It is advisable to have designated anatomy shoes and double glove. I really need to go to bath and body works.
I like to mention food. I drove us to olive garden and feasted upon tour of Italy, chocolate lasagna, and a cafe latte with hazelnut.
Saturday I have orientation for medical school starting at 11:30 and ending with a trip to the Hawaiian Falls Waterpark. monday we have registration and Tuesday we start with some fluff lectures. Weds the real work begins starting off with a Biochemistry test two weeks thereafter. I got an email about class officer positions. I really want to be one. I don't have much experience being an officer and getting elected is tricky. We have elections following the first day of class. I should start working on my speech. I want to be on the test committee which meets with faculty to voice the class' concerns about bad questions. The admissions committee would be fun, but I 'd have to stay in Dallas and be up at 8:00 every Saturday. The curriculum committee would also be great. The medical school students are already going out to a club this Friday and since i'll be unavailable subsequent weekends this seems like a good opportunity to network. :)
