The eldest parts of the castle are from the 12th century which makes it the eldest profane building in Sweden which is still in use. Though after all those rebuildings and renovations throughout the centuries probably only the archeaologists who study the stonework in the castle's basement can guess its age.
Linköping is a city of airplane builders. Some other time I will show you the Air Force Museum in Linköping. But you can also see it in the interior of this café.
