Gothia Towers
В посте от 31 декабря достопочтенной публике было предложено угадать, где была сделана представленнвя там фотография.
Первой угадала город vilda_brynhilda - Гётеборг. Она же затем опознала одно из зданий
на фото.
Также правильно назвала город una_ragazza_o .
tincan_poet первым узнал парк аттракционов Лисеберг.
aka_urban_fairy угадала, что снимок был сделан из окна гостиницы напротив Лисеберга.
А splyuh попала в яблочко с точным названием гостиницы. И только самую чуточку промахнулась с этажом.

In the entry from Dec. 31 I suggested the venerable audience to guess where the photo presented in the said entry was taken.
The first to guess the right town was vilda_brynhilda - it was Gothenburg. She was also the one to name one of the buildings on the photo.
una_ragazza_o was also right about the town.
tincan_poet was the first to recognize the amusement park Liseberg.
aka_urban_fairy guessed that the photo was taken from a window of the hotel in front of Liseberg.
And splyuh hit the bull's-eye with the correst name of the hotel and only slightly missed the right floor.

A bit boring interior of an exclusive room. On the room's plus side are a bathtube, a bath robe, a shelf with tea and coffee and a breakfast in the VIP-lounge on the very top floor of the tower.

In the mean time it was raining outside.
Тем временем за окном шел дождь.
Несмотря на дождь и ураганный ветер мы прогулялись до греческого ресторана недалеко от центральной улицы. Муж нашел их меню в интернете. Муж заказал себе рулет из свинины, а я - маринованное в тимьяне филе баранины. Было вкусно. :)
In spite of the rain and the orkan we took a walk to a Greek restaurant not far from the central street. My husband stumbled over their menu on the Internet. Hubby picked a pork roll and I chose a thyme marinated lamb fillet. It was tasty. :)

A grey morning is creeping over the town. A view over Liseberg.

Early morning in the bar on the 23rd floor.

Don't worry, I am not an addict. My only aim there was the breath-taking view over the town.
Не беспокойтесь, я не алкоголик. Моей единственной целью был духозахватывающий вид на город.

Помимо видов в гостинице обнаружились и другие интересности. Выставка пряничных... гхм... домиков.
Besides the views there were also some other interesting sights. An exhibition of gingerbread... erm... houses.
