I'm a photographer.
You don't look like a photographer. Where's your camera?
In the bag. What do I look like, then?
The threadbare sweater, the unwashed hair... you look more like a writer, to me.
Well I'm that, too. Why not?
I still don't believe you're a photographer.

Can a baker be a cook?
Oh, I cook and bake, too.
Maybe you do. But that doesn't make you a "cook." And perhaps you take photos, but that doesn't make you a photographer. You have to be more obsessed, first. What are you obsessed with?
