During my sophomore year of high school (many, many thousands of years ago), my parents--in attempt to temper an adolescence in the midst of going wild--bought me a golden retriever for my birthday. that is the saddest thing ever, you made me cry at 7:30 in the morning

it is amazing how emotionally attached we become to our pets, but they tend to be more like our family than our actual family

thing is about an animal, if they love you they really love you. no head games, no conditions, no bullshit, no trying to make you into somebody else. losing that is a gut punch. I'm so sorry.

I just started crying after reading this sad news. I am so sorry for you and your loss. I completely understand how you feel, i still miss my dog that we had to put down several years ago. I know that she loved you just as much as you loved her. I'm sorry.
