What are your thoughts on how much money we as a society spend on fashion? Do you think it is worth it?
honestly, looking around my area of the world, i dont think we spend ENOUGH. i know, thats probably a horrible thing to say, but seriously, LOOK at the people in the community.
its one thing to not care about what people think, but half these people look like they dont even care about THEMSELVES, and thats a problem. yes, ive heard all the different reasonsas to why these people might be like this.
self esteem is a big one, BUT dont you know that when you just spend a little bit of time taking care of yourself, you actually feel better about yourself. yeah, i have a big problem with this myself (and gradually getting better), and ive noticed when i do my makeup, put on a cute outfit, and do my hair, i feel great.
maybe they are broke? well hell, im wayyyyy more broke than people realize, but i refuse to make it look that way. i know, im probably coming off as pretty pretentious right now, and i apologize, for that is not intended. all im saying is that there are so many people around who just dont give a damn, and it shows.
