i got blisters on my fingers!

in any case, i did get a new blister on my finger today. from the ropes. while wearing gloves designed specifically to protect your hands from ropes. and not even my own, open finger ones, no. i was wearing gloves with all but the first finger closed because i handle a lot of rope. and i got a blister on my first finger. i actually find this hilarious.

mmm. delicious masochism.

i'm really enjoying my war wounds, such as they are. i got my first bad blistery burn from work last week. it's been ridiculously entertaining to watch it heal. i also cut into my thumb with a serrated knife. channeling emily i suppose. except i didn't actually do any damage. it cut through my nail and to just a hair before it would have hit flesh, so no bleeding. bleeding in a bakery is bad.

and of course i'm constantly bruised form scurrying over the handholds when we tack. bruises are so pretty.

i also like steak. and cake. which, incidentally, rhyme.
