I keep wondering how long it will take my roommate, Jessica to realize the cat vomit in the livingroom floor. I wonder if it's just a standstill? I mean, I'm shouldn't have to pick it up. It's her cat, and I'm like there for two hours a day. Her catbox is two weeks full again.
The fact is, she is being kicked out. For numerous reasons.
1) She hasn't cleaned once she moved in, in September.
2) She has only, once paid any of the bills on time. The Febuary rent check came to me on the first.
3) Her cat is her responsibility and she has doesn't take care of him well. That poor thing has to shit on its own shit and kick it around to cover his shit, with shit. And it's totally attention deprived. She runs in and out whenever I see her and hardly gives notice to him.
4) She complains about the other roommate, Rachel having her boyfriend over all the time. So? It's her boyfriend. Whether she should be dating him or not is besides the point here. He parks his car in the back all the time? Well, Rachel doesn't own a car, so this equalizes it doesn't it? Jessica has a car and she doesn't even pay car insurance. What right does she have to complain?
5) I was in her room last week to check out the cable modem (thats in her room) and I found that she has smoked in there. Even though she know the agreement is to smoke only on the porch. Hyprocrite.
6) She never has done the garbage.
7) Lastly, she isn't on the lease. And doesn't want to be.
The landlord has suspected that someone lives here that doen't belong on the lease. So, I gave Jessica thirty days to move out. I never mentioned the other reasons for kicking her out. I saw no reason to bring up that drama. Besides, I'm afraid I won't get a utilities check from her for the month of Febuary. I just don't think she will. She will be living here during the month of Febuary and using the electricity and heat, but I feel she won't pay up. Maybe, I'm jumping the gun, but I have to be prepared.
So, she is out soon and I won't have to deal with her shit. I know I will have a whole new ball of wax to deal with though. Extra shares of the utilities to pay for. Rachel and I are going to pay fifty/fifty on everything. I'm sad that I will have to pay more, especially with the cost of heat so high. But it will be worth not having to deal with Jessica. She has been a horrible roommate. I could handle the dirt stuff maybe, but with the money stuff clogging it up, I've had more than I can bare.
I have to go.
