Dear heart, I know you know that you did the right thing.....but let me say it *aloud*: you did the hard thing AND the right thing. I'm so sorry, but so glad, too, that you had each other for so long and loved each other so much. And that she will go on in her Tuxie. Don't forget to be good to *you*, whilst you're loving the T-kitteh up.
Thank you, hon! She'll live on in Tuxie and hopefully be able to go into the ground where she'll compost for new life. And tufts of her fur, which contains her DNA are in a little bottle they gave me and some more I will put in a pretty box of my choice and when our civilization is in ruins (even worse than now) future explorers will find that little bottle, and a few others next to it, all full of fur of ancient beings that no longer exist, but they will decide to take that DNA and bring those creatures back to life. It won't be Moo herself, but it will be a cat genetically the same as her and the world will be merry, humans will be owned, there will be cat memes, and all will be covered in cat hair again
( ... )
....while you are in this unique *place*, i hope that you'll weave more of what you've said above (the bottle, the fur, the 'ancient beings that no longer exist"), as a tribute to your departed heart, as a comfort to your own life......
Whether you weave and share, or weave a private tapestry, never to be seen by others, it will still be a tribute to the life and times of The Whooshin' Moosh.
At times like these, it's difficult not to think and think and think some more on the decisions that were made. One thing is certain: if you had not helped her, she would be gone now anyway, having suffered more. You did the loving thing. She had a great life with you and you will care for her son. What more could anyone want?
Hugs and thoughts across this great universe!!
