The First Roses of Spring for Twa Birthdays . . .

May 26, 2013 23:01

A very happy birthday to the Wee Master's poet true, my dear jan_u_wine. I hope it's been a day full of hobbity goodness that sets your muses singing. A rose for you on your day:

And this rose goes to our dear addie71:

I wish you a very happy birthday of hobbitish delights and may the Wee Gardner's blessings be on all your spring plantings.

Both these roses were the first blooms of spring last month opening before the rest on some glorious bushes beside the Youth Center near the lake. Those buses have outdone themselves this month prolifically.

And now I'll take you both on a walk around the lake last month:

These wild tulips bloomed in early April and grew by the bridge over the creek that feeds into the lake.

I dont' know what these wildflowers flowers next to the lake are.

Some elanor blossoms nestled among a mallorn's roots. I don't know what they call them in these parts.

You can see why elanor means star flower in Sindarin. May it bring you both lovely dreams. *hugs* <3
