Stars, stars, stars- you think they're just diamonds in the sky

Alex notified me today that I haven't updated in a really long time, and while I've been aware of that, I kind of thought I would automatically start updating again once school started. And then I didn't. And now it's already October 15th (when did THAT happen?) SO the point is, that now I'm updating. It goes along with today actually, because I haven't exactly been the most productive person on earth. Schoolwork-wise anyway.

I went to the gym, which felt really good because I hadn't been in over a week. And I cleaned the bathrooms, and I showered, and I did laundry, and I talked with my brother and parents and Alex on the phone. And I watched the Giants win: All very important things! However, I've hardly done any of the massive amounts of work that need to be done for tomorrow, because I've basically already decided that it's impossible - so why stress about it?

I'm proud of myself that I don't stress out nearly as much/often as I used to about work. However, I don't really get excited about my classes either. I basically have a bad case of senioritis, and I'm just going through the motions. I do think that I'm learning quite a bit. Spanish is awesome and I love learning it and can't WAIT to actually know it for real. My immigration class is really eye opening. And my research methods class is surprisingly fun. French class is maybe less enlightening, but I suppose that's to be expected after a year abroad, but I'm still happy that I'm keeping up with reading in French and that I can read a whole book in a week and not sweat it. The psych lab kind of stinks, but sometimes it doesn't, so I'm tolerating it OK.

And basically that's it. I feel like time is rushing by between lots and lots of work and trying to get everythign done in between visits with Alex and fun weekend activities.

I LOVE my suite. These girls are amazing, and it's positively wonderful. We have ourselves a happy little female home! with a pumpkin pie candle and white lights and a TV in the common room. It's like another family, which is just so good.

Anyway, I will try to update more often again, so I can document what I'm doing with my life. And obviously to better procrastinate.

LET'S GO METS tonight! They have to win!!!!!
