A year ago.
I'm a bit late. 27 days about. But a year ago You-Know-Who fell and took my best friend with him.
Over six months ago, Jacob Mulciber went to Azkaban forever for putting all those poor people under Imperius. Lucius Malfoy got off on Imperius. I don't know that he was guilty and I don't know that he wasn't, but it's interesting. I don't know him, but I do know that he's a Slytherin, so he's probably guilty of something. You still can't tell me that Martin Avery wasn't guilty as sin for at least helping the Death Eaters, he never did anything to stop any of them in his year and they've all proven to be Death Eaters. Well except Snape is teaching at Hogwarts, but he was one of the lot. I know, I spent seven years with them.
Most people can say that they're different than they were a year ago, but I don't think that I'm that different. I still have the same job, I work the same hours, I eat the same breakfast every day, it's comforting really. It's ordinary, but I don't mind being ordinary. I could be a million other things, I could be broken, I could be anything, but I'll take ordinary.

If you haven't had the chance to look at the decorations in Diagon, you should, they're lovely. I like going and looking out the window at work, there's something about them that makes me smile, even though I'm hardly a child anymore. I swear that one of the bakeries keeps the smell of gingerbread in the air, it makes me want a biscuit the entire time I'm at work.
