Noticed Google's striking Earth Day image and thus clicked it:

Earth Day - US Government Portal, offers ideas to "Take Action on Your Own":
Use the Energy Star program http://www.energystar.gov to find energy efficient products for your home. Purchase "Green Power" for your home's electricity. (Contact your power supplier to see where and if it is available.)
I googled "Green Power" SRP and found out that SRP has an EarthWise Energy Program, which is basically a donation per month (of $3, $6, $9, etc) to the development and use of renewable energy sources. But that's still cool by me. ![](http://www.epa.gov/watersense/images/watersense_logo_home.gif)
And also that they offer money back for the installation of solar electric systems and solar water heaters through their EarthWise Solar Energy program. Use WaterSense labeled water-efficient products
Also, Home Depot is giving away 1,000,000 free n:vision Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs today to customers as part of their Eco Options program.
