It has occurred to me that it's been well over a month since I last updated my journal. I'm still wondering why I even bother, since these days, 95% of the time my flist is deader than roadkill and is mostly populated by RSS feeds of Japanese blogs. :p
Anyhoo, my life lately has been pretty boring. Spring break ended two weeks ago (I went home to my parents' house for it, where nothing exciting happened), and now the semester is winding down. Just three weeks of classes and one week of finals and I'll finally be free of both Java and Javascript programming! That could not come fast enough, let me tell you!
In the wee hours of this morning, I registered for my summer classes, and I will be a very busy bee. This is probably a bad thing, since I'll likely be burnt out on school by the time the fall semester starts up. :p Anyway, here's what I'm taking:
♥ Sex, Money & Power in American Literature*
♥ Biology for Non-majors*
♥ Biology for Non-majors Lab*
♥ Advances in Health Sciences Technology
*These courses are the last two I need for my general studies/A.A.
And lucky for me, these courses are all online! (Yes, even the biology lab, somehow). :D
Next week, I get to register for fall classes, and this is what I hope to be taking:
♥ Software Engineering I (T/R 2:30-3:45)
♥ Japanese III (M/W 9:30-10:45)
♥ Applications of Information Technology
♥ Health Information Systems
♥ Business Analysis and Decision Making in Health Care
The nice thing is that most of my classes are online, so I don't have to worry about waking up early! Also, it should be noted that one of those classes will probably be nixed (and it won't be Japanese III). I have a hard enough time handling 4 classes and work, there's almost no way I can do 5--especially when the majority of them are upper-level courses. That said, it still means I'll have 11 more classes to take until I can earn my degree. So close, yet so far. u__u
I bought some new plants last week! (Stfu, this is as exciting as my life gets). Since both of my tomatoes died (they were left out in freezing temperatures while I was back at my parents' over Christmas) and one of my strawberry plants also bit the dust (never recovered from the spider mite infestation u__u), I figured I should buy new things to replace them. In lieu of tomatoes, I really wanted to try to grow soybeans, but no one around here sells them, so I'd have to order the seeds online, and I didn't get around to it before the optimum seed-planting time had passed. Maybe next year.
So instead, I bought a new "patio" tomato, which is supposed to be good for growing in containers, a new strawberry plant, and a basil plant. We'll see how they do once I manage to find time to plant them. XD;;
And lastly, I am kind of sad because almost all of the anime series I had been watching have all ended. So now that Persona 4 and Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou are over, all I've got left is Shin TeniPuri. I've taken a look at the series premiering in the spring, but not a single one appeals to me. :/ I was hoping the second season of UtaPuri would be starting, but alas, it's not. So last night I started watching Tiger & Bunny because...people seem to like it, idk. We'll see how that goes.
Aaaaaaand, I think that's enough boring rambling for this month. :p
