I sincerely hope this never happens again
Well after having an enjoyable day off yesterday and messing around with fake SH translations, today was sucky, sucky, sucky. First of all, I went to bed entirely too late (as usual), and was super sleepy when I had to wake up at 9:20 for work. >__< And then, naturally, I ended up getting out of work 40 minutes late.
...And then I got home and died.
Just like last Friday, I came home, started to veg out for a while, and then promptly got a migraine. And just when I thought the migraine was going away... I got another one. And because about 3 hours had passed, I guess my medicine had worn off and the entire left side of my head and neck were killing me. My head was just pounding, but I couldn't take more medicine since you're only supposed to take 2 pills (of Excedrin Migraine) within 24 hours. Needless to say, I was absolutely miserable. I cried.
So when Cinnamon came home from work around midnight, I had her take me to the emergency room. I hadn't been to the emergency room since I was about 8 years old and broke my foot, so I was kinda nervous. It took them an entire hour before they finally started treating me (with an IV drip and 3 different kinds of medicine). All in all, it took about 3 hours, and then they sent me on my way. I'm feeling pretty tired and a little out of it still, but my head is feeling much better. ^__^ All the same, I'm glad it's over and I hope something like this never ever happens again. Migraines are absolutely awful.
