Corn chips are no place for a mighty warrior!

Well, according to the poll in this post, a whopping 7 people out of the 34 (okay, 32 if I don't count my own journal or my writing journal) read my LJ with any kind of regularity. To all of you (and you know who you are), I'd like to issue a big thank you for putting up with me these past 8 years (or however long you've been on my flist). ♥

To the other 25 other people who did not answer my poll... why the hell not? It was probably the easiest poll ever! :p

I'm sure all seven of you are dying to find out what I've been up to recently! Well for a few days, I was writing fic. 8,000 words of fic. And I posted it here! And you all can read it if you so choose. (It's Tuti/Nagayan, written for a drabble challenge, and is totally AU, so it's not like you even need to know anything about the guys to enjoy it! Also, there is some porn!)

Other than that, life has been a lot of the same ol' same ol'. Just working mostly. And speaking of work, I'd just like to say that if you are in my store and you don't want to piss me off, here are some basic rules to follow:
1. Do not sit in the aisles or lie on the floor.
2. Do not move our furniture around.
3. Do not move books on our tables so you can put your coffee cup/books/laptop down.
4. Do not use our outlets to charge your laptop and/or cellphone. That is what your house is for. You aren't paying for the electricity, so don't use it.
5. Do put things back where you found them.
6. "Please" and "thank you" go a long way.

Today, Cinnamon had knee surgery to remove a plica. Our brother took here there and picked her up because I had to work. It wasn't anything serious and she's doing fine (if still a little sore and doped up). She doesn't need crutches for it and she starts physical therapy tomorrow. Hopefully it will solve her knee pain issues and she'll be back to running like usual (without pain) in a month!

And that about sums up my life over this past week.

work, txn, injury, life, fiction
