After my last post, I decided that yes, I should totally create a blog for my trip. So I did. I went with what Michael (a manager at work) recommended and created it on vox. Turns out it's also owned by SixApart (just like LJ), so I have the ability to crosspost my posts from there if I so choose. I don't know if I'll choose to do so yet.
Anyway, there's not really much there, just some stuff about me planning the trip and where we're planning on visiting and whatnot. Of course, I have to keep it appropriate for coworkers to see, so I'm not telling them anything I don't feel comfortable letting them all know. But if you want to check it out, it's
hellojapan.vox.com I made it look all cute and stuff~ ^.^
I was going to buy a couple of books at work today - a nifty pictorial bargain book on Japan and a copy of Barron's Japanese Grammar (since I really need to work on my grammar >_<), and while I was having Jane ring me up, she decided to give them both to me as "going away presents", which I thought was very nice of her even though they only came to $10. ^___^ Thank you, Jane~!
As you can see, my posts tend to be longer when I'm bored. I could ramble on and on, but I'll cut it off here. Sorry, guys.
