Vacation update time!
Now that I'm marginally less sad about wifey leaving (mostly because I'm getting back into the mindset of hating work already), I think I'll give you guys my vacation report. ...Provided I can remember all of it. It's probably kind of long.
Wednesday, February 22
* Picked Cass up at the airport at 11am. Yay!
* Hit up Steak 'n Shake for lunch. Mmm~ chocolate shake
* Drove over to Daytona Beach so... Cass could see the beach. Many pictures were taken
* Drove up A1A for reasons I don't really remember
* Headed home (where Cass proceeded to fall asleep. Aww~ sleepy!wifey ^.^)
* Took a little rest and drove around St Augustine a bit.
* Ended up at the outlet mall
* Came home and watched some random TeniMyu stuff as well as Kyoh Kara Maou
Thursday, February 23
* ...What did we do Thursday?
* Went to a store in the mall that sells some anime stuff - bought a 6 pack of Ramune
* Hit up Target for no good reason (fawned over baby things)
* Bought Lunchables (mmm~ pizza) and baby food
* Went to Wal-mart for more fabric for Cass' costume... and bought baby spoons >_>
Friday, February 24
* Drove down to Orlando
* Got to the hotel at about 3. Much cooler than I was expecting (hooray for a mini-kitchenette and a sofabed!)
* Bummed around the con as Ryoma-in-a-skirt and Taka
* Bought the complete 5-disc box set of PGSM. Yes, the live action series. >_>;;
* Watched more Kyoh Kara Maou
Saturday, February 25
* More con fun!
* Met up with metronome, spark_658, hikariblue and Diana (whose LJ name I do not know ~_~)
* Bought a couple of cool things like the TeniPuri calendar, a HanaKimi artbook, and a random cosplay magazine
* Was really really cold for some reason ~_~
* Had a late dinner at IHOP where some guy I didn't even talk to and barely even saw bought my dinner for me. WTF? He gave me a card, as he's apparently some sort of photographer. (The convention center was also having a Photo Marketing show). I was... surprised and a little weirded out. >_>
* Stayed up way too late watching a Japanese ninja movie... on the Spanish channel
Sunday, February 26
* Made one last round at the con
* Bought a super cute white kitty hat and a boot disc for my weird PoT game
* Went to a few Asian markets around Orlando and 2 malls
* Went to the pr0n shop with wifey! (It's sad that I noticed they changed it around since the last time I was there >_>;;)
* Hit up Steak 'n Shake again, because it is so good
Monday, February 27
* A day of rest
* Watched some PGSM
* Introduced Cass to Magic User's Club (haha, Masaya Onosaka)
* Played 3 games of billiards, because St Augustine has nothing else to do after dark
* Watched more PGSM
Tuesday, February 28
* Went to Orange Park
* Showed wifey World Market
* Bought a new swimsuit (yay, polka dots!)
* Watched more PGSM
* Not enough Zoicite
Wednesday, March 1
* Went to downtown, historic St Augustine
* Cass bought souvenirs for her parents and sibling
* Went by the store where I used to work (not much has changed)
* Ate an early dinner at the Pizza Garden
* Took pictures of stuff downtown for wifey
* Went bowling and beat poor Cass in all 5 games. Gomen, wifey! ~_~ (my scores: 122, 132, 140, 107, 119)
* Continued watching PGSM
Thurdsay, March 2
* Finally got my Seigaku costume in the mail after nearly 3 weeks
* Attempted to play tennis and take interesting cosplay pics
* It was 80 degrees, so we didn't get very far
* Stole a bunch of anime/Tenimyu/music from wifey's external hard drive (But I somehow missed the original and Remix of Yuushi's 'Crafty'. Woe! T__T)
* Finished watching PGSM. Uwah~! Zoicite! T______T I cried. A lot. >_>;;
Friday, March 3
* Drove down to Daytona to take wifey to the airport T______T
* Saw many, many bikes and OMFGscaryhairyshirtlessguy, as it was the start of Bike Week
* Bummed around the mall for a bit
* Tried to cheer wifey up. Failed. T__T
* Cass' plane ended up being delayed almost 2 hours
* Bummed around in the airport for a bit
* Finally parted with Cass at 6:50
* Cried a lot on the way home T_____________T
