Reading back...
I've been reading past LJ posts of mine and oh my GOD I write a lot about tee vee lol! I also haven't posted much since Mom died. Not sure why. Anyway, I'm in SL a lot, and on FB and Twitter and I'm getting started on deviantART. Earlier this year I got an iPad and it got me drawing again.. you can DRAW on it! DRAW!! Like with your HANDS not a mouse!! Seriously, it's like using charcoal without the mess! But I posted some iPad sketches on FB for fun and to save them and the feedback was REALLY good, so that's why deviantART :) I'll put up a link when there's something there to look at. Right now I'm figuring out how the dratted thing works :)
I also found out today that my university materials have started to be reviewed, so I'll be finding out soon if I can start taking classes again this summer. Last year everything was so confusing so I couldn't go back last fall. Besides, I ended up having to be with Dad a lot at the end of the year so the semester would have been interrupted anyway. He's fine, he just gets panic attacks. Part of that is Parkinsons and part is he freaks out if he's alone too much. Mom was alone for a long time when she had the stroke and that image of her all by herself has a way of lingering, especially since he's living in what used to be her house now. Anyway, I have a deal with my brother that I'll wait till someone NOT Dad tells me to get over there before I go. I can't keep living afraid that someone's going to drop dead. So hopefully I will be back in the living my life world soon :) The courses I want to take are in the library/info services dept and what I'd LIKE to do is get into special libraries like museums and reference. If I can do a dual degree with Art History that would be great, but if I can't that's ok too.
So that's me these days. Didn't mean to do an updatey post, but I'm glad I did. Hope you're all well and awesome :)
